  1. YAY!!! A blog where I can actually post comments!!! Maybe next time you should try audio books? And I can personally attest to the fact that coke does NOT cure car sickness. I have cleaned sticky coke-puke off my car seats many times.

    1. Nooo! I want to believe that Coke has magical stomach settling powers. Let me have my denial, it's so warm and fuzzy.

    2. Audio books are a great idea. We've already used up all the ones at the local library though, and the kids are a bit stuck at a stage where they're too old for the younger reader books but not emotionally mature enough for most adult novels. Do you have any you'd recommend?

  2. I am a member of Audible, and you can get them reasonably cheaply from there. I think $10 a month gives you at least one but sometimes 2. My kids have a bit of a bad attitude to them, but I got Elijah Wood reading Huckleberry Finn and really want to make time each day for listening once we start back at school. I think it is a whole different set of skills to listen rather than to read and it is good for them, particularly Shams who cant sit still for 2 seconds.

  3. That sounds good actually, I think maybe they'd really enjoy some of the classics more on audiobook. Will let you know how it goes!

  4. The Bec is Back! I used to know a yes/no game that kept my friend's kids busy for hours. If I recall the rules, I'll add it on here.

    1. Hey, Tehnaz is here! Hi Tehnaz!

Thanks, I'm grateful for any and all tips. Reminds me of our disastrous attempts at playing 20 Questions. Might post about that over on Snagglebox :)
