  1. After that WHOLE story all we get is a blurry pic of you and hubby's tux? Where's the blood? Where is the panic? Where's the dancing? WHERE ARE THE SHOES????

    1. That is literally the only photo I took! I was in such a mad rush to get out the door I didn't even think of it. By the time we stumbled back to our room, I took what I thought was an AWESOME memory of our night, only to find the next morning that someone had replaced it with this one :)

  2. Hilarious, but maybe you are just out of practice? Yay to your hubby for saving the day.
My DH is the same as you about not liking big gatherings, getting to them is a struggle, once he's there he has a good time. Exhausting is right.
You wrote a great book, everyone wanted you to know it. Politicians and Ministers have lots of practice, you are just getting started. Its great you had a good time.

    1. Ha, I would love to believe that if I went to a ball every weekend I would get better at not being a complete dork. Somehow, methinks not. Thanks for saying that about the book, and yes we did end up having a great time, maybe even because of what happened because man was I way above caring at that point! My muscles are mad at me today though. Ouch.

  3. I could read this all freaking day long. I swear, I'm not laughing *at* you... ;) I love the way you can laugh at yourself.

    1. Laughing at yourself is easy when you're this much of a dork.
